HELLO THERE, FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO SAY A WORD OF TRUTH , IF IT WASNT FOR MARINE DOCTOR AROUND THIS GREAT FORUM , THIS FORUM WOULD BE A MESS, IT WOULD BE EXACTLY A CLINIC WITH OUT A DOCTOR DIAGNOSING SO EASE OFF MARINE DOCTORS BACK THIS GUY IS ONE OF THE BEST PEOPLE AROUND HERE, HE HAS HELPED ME ALOT ANYWAYS MY QUESTION IS THE FOLLOWING I HAVE A 1985 14.5 FT BAYLINER CAPRI, I DECIDED TO GET RID OF MY 50 H.P FORCE BECAUSE THE FORCE WAS NEVER WITH IT, ANYWAYS I BOUGHT A NICE 65 H.P MERCURY OUTBOARD ON EBAY FOR CHEAP AND I WANT TO INSTALL IT ON MY BAYLINER , I WANTED TO KNOW HOW WILL THIS WORK? I MEAN WILL THE STERRING STILL BE THE SAME A PERFECT FIT FOR THE FORCE AND THE KEY SWITCH TOO, THE NEW ENGINE HAS TILT/TRIM WHILE MY OLD FORCE DOESNT, WILL THAT BE AN OBSTACLE, WHAT ARE THE MAIN CRITICAL PARTS I HAVE TO TELL THE SELLER TO INCLUDE WITH THE MERCURY SO I MAKE SURE ITS A PERFECT INSTALLATION, WILL I BE ABLE TO OPERATE IT WITH THE SAME STEERING CURRENTLY ON IT AND THE SAME IGNITION KEY, I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE THROTTLE ARM WILL DEFINETLY GO , NOW WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE WIRING, AND WHAT IS THE CLOSEST FIT NON-FORCE ENGINE TO THE FORCE , PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE, AND MARINE DR ALL PROPS TO YOU BUDDY .
