replacing quicksilver 3000 control with SL3

Just wondering if anyone has ever replaced their mercury quicksilver 3000 with a Morse SL3 control. I am having trouble understanding the directions. I have a Mercury 200hp outboard with km cable. On the quicksilver I pushed to go forward and pulled for reverse. I have the owners installation manuel but can't figure which holes I am supposed to use?? Feelin pretty stupid. Not sure if this is the right place to post but am desperate!

I believe you will only want to use the outer most hole. The others are for special applications..

figure 5 in particular, even though that is for twin throttles, should give you an idea..

hey rick thanks for the reply. The Sl3 is a different controller then the one you posted. After looking over the old controller and studying the directions a little more I figured out where the cables should be mounted. thanks anyway!
