Replacing seats

I am getting ready to replace the seats in my 19ft Wellcraft. The present seating is 2 back to back lounge seats and 2 rear seats. I was wondering what it would be like to replace the port side lounge seats with a side facing bench seat. There has to be some kind of disadvantage to this that I am not thinking about. Of course I am a new boat owner and no idea what I am doing.

Aside from the fact of sitting sideways????? Not a bad idea. Most Donzi Sweet 16's had that arrangement.

Might make fishing tougher (if you fish from this boat).

You might be tempted to exceed the capacity of the boat if you increase the seating area.

Was debating if 2 people sitting sideways and be able to look front and back vs one looking forward and one looking back. I wouldn't put in a bench that would sit more than 2 people so not to increase seating. I was thinking it might be a little better for fishing since the backs would not be in the way. Would be able to kneel on the bench.
I was even thinking of keeping the base from the back to backs and maybe mounting regular folding seats. Possibly on a pivot.
