I need help getting my second spark plug wire off. I got the first one off with a ratchet and a 1/4" socket with a screwdriver bit in it but I can't get a good enough grip on the other plugs screw to get it out. Any tricks that you folks might know of so I can get the wire replaced and finish up on the rest of my replacement parts?

I figured it out on my own (pat on the back). All it took was taking out 2 small screws by the points and pop it off the crankshaft then pull the clip off the throttle and flip the darn thing over and there were the screws to loosen up to get the old plug wire out.

Thanks guys and gals:)

I was gonna respond originally but couldn't understand what you were trying to do, I guess you couldn't get the sparkplug wire holder loose from underneath the stator plate right?

I had the same trouble last week and found those 2 screws that hold the plate down. The seloc manual was no help at all.!
