Replacing the Impeller on Alpha One Gen+ (Face Seal proper placement and extra piece

Hi,
Im almost done replacing the water pump on my Alpha One Gen+ outdrive. Please see attached picture and let me know if I placed the Face Seal properly.

Also,
Please let me know what is this extra seal that came with the Quicksilver kit?I have no idea what to do with it.

Face seal looks fine, did you use the tool and pull up on the shaft as you slid it down, looks like a good job to me.

That 'extra' piece is the drive lower housing top seal, under the water pump. If yours isn't leaking, don't disturb it.

Sure looks like a new seal carrier that goes below the water pump. Did you refer to your manual for replacement? Hopefully you'll pass the pressure test on the old seal.

Thank you all for the help!
I put the lower unit back in and tested it. So far, so good, No leaks (tested for aprox 20 minutes) and the engine temp stays between 170-175 degrees,
this weekend I will conduct the pressure test,
