Just connect to where the old one was connected It does not matter which way round you connect the two yellow wires.

The Installation pdf on the CDI Electronics website tells you this!

Doesn't matter which way the yellows are attached. They supply AC volts to the reg/rect, so there is no polarity.
CDI is kinda notorious for having mismatched colors and connector ends....often you have to "figger it out."

Connect the new rectifier/regulator to the stator (ignore any stripes on the stator as the new
rectifier/regulator does not require the Yellow wires to be connected to a particular stator wire) Thanks for the quick answers,i had just found the info. now its raining so will finish Friday...

A little caution here... IF you're connecting a voltage regulator and not a rectifier/voltage regulator then there IS a problem. You can't simple connect a voltage regulator to an AC source without going through a rectifier first. So if your new circuit is merely a voltage regulator and not a rectifier and voltage regulator combined, then you can't connect it at all... However, if you purchased a rectifier/voltage regulator combo, then the above comments are point on... JMHO!
