Report on Sonar/GPS purchase

I really appreciated the help of the Forum in response to my January 4 questions on sonars & GPS units. <br />I just ordered a Lowrance LCX 19C dual frequency unit with GPS / Mapping. I learned alot in the past month. Thanks those of you who added to the Forum thread.

Dude, just because you got it now doesn't mean we'll abandon ya! If you got any questions about installing it, operating it, etc, feel free to ask. Someone here will have the answer and be happy to post it for ya!

Don <br />Great choice, I think it has a lot of good features and is so easy to see even from the back of the boat. Not cheap but a fine unit. Also Lowrance base maps include a lot more info than the Garmin base units.
