repost 2000 50 hp johnson seahorse no spark

well let me say this, the kill switch has been bypassed but i get no spark from coil pack ,im not sure where to start ,there is a blue and yellow wire going to the coil pack and i think i need to see if i get power there right?and if im right where do i go next, i checked the fuse its good

Tim....your model number indicates a 2001....Please recheck the number 'cause that's about the only part that makes sense.<br /><br />Two things....either the power coil or power pack is the culprit. Most likely the power pack.
