Hi, I am looking at a 1999 WA with a freshly repowered Merc 150 EFI. Just wanted to know how much is a repowered head worth towards the value of the boat? The seller is asking about 2000 more than I think the boat is worth. If it didn't have the repowered head. For any of the mechanics out there, how much do you usually charge for repowering?

"Repowering" means changing the complete motor to a different one, not just the powerhead. If he just replaced the powerhead a lot depends on who did the work, their warranty and what they actually did.

Was it patched? Rebuilt? Remanufactured? New powerhead?

Change that, I know it was just a new powerhead

Not sure at this time,

What would be the approx. price difference between the two?

I am trying to figure out if this boat is worth the extra 2000 the seller is asking based on a new (or rebuilt) powerhead

Exactly. But to know what its worth you have to know what it is. And if the warranty transfers or not. Or if there even is one.
