considering repowering an older twin bracket mounted outboard with etech v6's.

what is/are the minimum mounting centers for the big etechs?

You mean a boat, not an outboard, John. An outboard engine (or motor to some) is what you mount on a boat.

the question I'm trying to ask, of someone that knows and has rigged twin etech v6 (250-300hp) outboards, on a boat that has brackets (2) to mount the 2 outboards on, is what is the minimum distance (center to center) that the etech's can be mounted on.

Ask any BRP dealer. That info is in the shop manual or call BRP customer service.
