Is anyone is able to post a photo of an installed alpha 1 (gen 1 if there's a difference) water inlet hose that goes from the gimbal housing to the transom? I've been struggling with a kinked hose and think I've finally got the length right, but I'm still fearing that it may still be bent just enough to restrict water flow at high rpm. I'm not sure what should be considered normal and would feel much better if I had somthing to compare my installation against.

thank you

thanks, thats the hose I used, but still have a bit of a bend with the hose just slightly pinched. Worry that with a little time and vac pressure it could cause problems.

It can be difficult to install that's for sure. The good news is you do not have to worry about vacuum - it is under pressure, not vacuum.
