Request for year of Buccaneer motor

Hello,
I have acquired from my father-in-law a 5hp Gale Buccaneer motor. The model number is 5D13B Serial 625857 Made by Gale products Galesburg,Illinois

I would like to know what year this was made so parts hunting will be easier. This motor turns free and appears in decent shape. It hasn't been run in ??? years.

It is a 1956. Great motors, but expect to find cracked coils. All 1956 OMC motors have cracked coils unless they have been replaced.
