reseting surge brake

hey i have a 2005 trophy 1802, with a matching karavan trailer..i droped the boat off and when i un hitched i forgot to remove the cable for the emergency break away...doh!!!anyway i noticed that now there is a brass looking nub deal on the now extended cable..i cant find the manual for the trailer to reset it...anyone know what i'm talking about,and how to reset the brake..thanks in advanced

Go here: http://www.karavantrailers.com/support.cfm There are two links for owners manuals, Part 1 and part 2, part one is mainly the table of contents and part 2 seems to be the material you need. looks like they use several actuators. You will need acrobat reader, if you do not have it they have a link at the top to download it.
