On my current project i have multiple holes where the PO fastened the wood to the hull from the outside in instead of glassing the wood. The hull is solid fiberglass there is no core materials. My question is, to patch the holes i was going to glass the inside of the hole and either resin the outside or use bondo/body filler. Which one should i use? Will bondo/body filler eventually crack with the flexing of the hull? Will resin be easy to fill the hole? Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Forget the bondo...... not good for marine work (even the stuff labeled marine!).

Thicken up some resin and go to town...... ;)
