Restoration help with carpet

Hello,

I've been working on a restoration project for a while now. I've installed and glue the vinyl flooring and now I'm working on the carpet for the sides of the boat. My question is, where the vinyl and carpet meet, what can i do to make it more visually appealing? Is there some sort of siding I can use? Any ideas?

overlapp the carpet to vinyl and cut them both at the same time. This will give identical cuts and it'll glue down nicely. Use a roller and roll it good and you'll have a nice seam.
