A year ago I took on the challenge of restoring a 1985 17 1/2 foot center console "Invader" boat. The boat was a junk yard find but had the lines and design that I was looking for in river/lake boat with an eye toward use in the Puget Sound as well. The boat was in decent shape from a structural standpoint but needed an update in all areas. The project included re-glassing the floor and a new aircraft quality electrical system. I wont share all of the details but can assure you that many hours were invested. I have done all the work myself. I am having the cushions made and will be installing a Fishmaster T-top. Here are the before pictures. My next post will be the after pictures.
