where can i find the vinyl to recover bow seating and what kind of wood should i use the boat will be living outside in a tarp style boat cover when done thanks in advance vader

found th vinyl found th foam i plan to attach it<br />it to 1\4 in m g plywood will this ply be thin enough to bend around the bow

I know this contradicts all moisture problems, but if you soak the wood in a tub of water, you'll be able to bend the plywood without snapping it, and once you have it upholstered, it should maintain its shape then you can apply a sealer once it drys.

The hotter the better,in my 7th grade shop class i built a small hydroplane. We used that technique to bend up the sides of the boat and it worked quite well. Man that was a long time ago..
