Restoring an old family Starcraft

Here goes. Its full game on. My grandfather bought this boat in 1985 with a Mariner 9.9. I still have it. It needs love, but thats next. The Seafarer has a Etec 30 on it, due for maintenance as well. We pulled it off and built a stand for it. Removing the cap on the transom was NOT fun.

I currently have the transom out waiting for 84 Lumber to recieve the Marine grade plywood I ordered for it. Thankfully the transom wasnt totally roached, so I can use it for a simple pattern.

Currently, the front floor is in progress and a pattern has been made. I plan on reinforcing it with angle aluminium. I am super excited to sure this up. Under the bench seats are bulkheads, making some of this a little easier. Heres to getting her back on the water this year!!!

I plan on using Epifanes varnish, both sides, and Epifanes non-skid coat. The og beige color is going to stay, just get buffed and ceramic coated. The scratches are from deep memories. The boat was used to save people during Hurricane Ian in Pittsburgh flooding.
