hey guys! this site has been such a help, i just wanna thank you all. but i have a few questions for you. K this boat i bought had a floor that was shot. so i cuz out the old floor and i am planning on reinforcing the stringers and laying a new floor down. now i was going to use marine grade plywood for thge floor, but i have noticed people using standard 2*4's and such for reinforcing. Now im wondering if its ok to use 2*4's or 2*6's to rinforse areas of the stringers IF i glass them before i put thgem in? cuz marine plywood is 100000 dollars a sheet so i was wondering just how much white woodi could use in this project? just your opinions, keep an eye on this forum cuz im gonna post pics of what i am dealing with. thanks guys!
