Restoring / Replacing the wood bow walkway on a Holiday

I am trying to figure out how to restore my 1970 Holiday IO's bow and stern walkway material. The original was what appears to be thick vinyl patterned to look like teak and rubber decking. Has anyone tried to restore their boat to match this look?

Check out Grandad's holiday restore. He used some pvc trim or something like that, it looks really good
