Need Help! I am in the process of restoring a 1970 23ft sportcraft. I have replaced all the stringers and floor my problem is there are a couple of 3/4 to 1 inch holes drilled thru the hull to bottom of boat. They were for instraments like a transducer and such. How do i properly fill these holes and fix them so they don't leak. I was thinking about using a marine putty and a marine adhesive/sealer to do it. Please give me some advice. Thanks

Fibwerglass mat and resin is the only correct way that will hold up. Apply the mat and resin from the inside.

DJ is right, thats the only way, fiberglassing. Putty and adheisive alone won't hold by itself, especially with all the pounding the hull will be taking.
