Restoring the Black Beast

I recently inherited a 1962 Kiekhafer-Merc 1000 (100 hp-1962 #1500140). Unfortunately, the previous owner did not cover the lower gear housing which is now badly cracked. Does anyone have any leads to where I could find one. I'm interested in the whole lower unit if that's available.

The Beast powers a 1961 Glastron Marathon with the original "glass" windshield. Her transom was factory reinforced for higher HP's. I'd love to see the two of these beauties reunited on the water.

Manual is on it's way, but unfortunately East Coast does not have the housing. thanks anyway for the lead.
