Hello I'm new to the forum and ran across an old topic and would like some more info on. Removing the air restrictor plate. I have a 2014 75 merc 4 stroke. I was told i could remove it and get more power but I don't want to cause any engine problems. Has anyone had any experience with this? I know the basics of motors and how they work. But alot of times dealers and manufacturers will tell you alot of things not to do. But can be done with little to no effect. Any help appreciated
