I think I know the answer but I thought I would tap your collective wisdom . 1972 StarCraft Holiday I/O cover and rear jump seats- cheaper to reupholster ( by a shop) or buy replacements ( at least for seats , don't think I could buy a replacement for I/O cover ) Thanks

I would think it would be cheaper to reupholster? If you take the seats apart and fix what ever structural damage there is then the reupholster just uses the old material as a template.

If you can find jump seats that fit, it will be cheaper to buy them. Look online for best price.

The I/O cover is a different story, as those are not standard. I replaced the original vinyl pad on my doghouse with a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet. It was better than the original (IMO) because it was a firm surface that you could put items on.

Lastly, jump seats can be pretty simple. You may be able to take a piece of single vinyl and make new covers. Remember, you may reuse the original foam, and the bases and backrest can staple on all four sides. A little creative cutting and stapling can make 'em look acceptable.
