Rev Limiter

Hate to bring this back up, not sure I got an answer to this previously.<br /><br />Does anyone know of an aftermarket ignition modul for a Merc 8hp (2003) that will remove the rev limiter?

Nope -- and I'm still curious as to why you want to do this since the rev limiter is usually set well above the recommended WOT throttle RPM. You must really want to hear this engine scream!

Yep It's a race engine.<br /><br />I figure if I went 6200, yeah I'll be putting wear and tear on it but I could get to a 10.5" pitch prop and increase my top end.
