reverse adjustment help

last year the boat was perfect this year its still perfect but when put in reverse it does not fully lock into reverse what changed ...... and what do i adjust to remedy this.....

What motor do you have? It's probably a cable adjustment issue.

1988 85 hp force ........ i think it has to be a cable adjustment if i manually put it in gear from the lower unit it engages fine
