Revs Readings

Always thought the revs readings were higher than normal, treated myself to the Rinda Techmate Pro
Reading on gauge 3000rpm
Reading on Techmate 2122rpm

is there anything I could do to set the gauge up ?

check the back of the tach, should be a pole position switch. rotate to a different setting and re check

if your gauge is reading high, your tach may be set to 6 cylinders vs 8 cylinders
