I am looking for a complete wire harness for engine/ boat for everything. I had to pull engine to do some much needed work on it. The valve guides, seals are bad on left side of engine. Also, I want to change the ignition system to get more torque so I can get this thing to plane out. We bought it in Aug 2009. The boat has 23 plus years of people cobbling the wiring. There are many wires that have been simply cut off, wire splices with only black tape. Please Send help.

Changing the ignition system won't get you more torque.

Finding a harness for the boat side of the engine connector is going to be close to impossible unless you find a donor boat. The engine side may also be tough. Best to just fix what you have. If you have circuits that don't work, run new wire or trace out what you have and see where the problem exist.

Too many questions for one thread. You need to post your engine questions in the proper engine forum, and a new ignition system is not going to increase your torque.
For wiring on the engine and instrument panel, you should again post in the engine forum and include what type engine it is and what drive. Model and serial numbers are really helpful.

Wiring for boat accessoies depends on what accessories you have. There are some basic wiring diagrams at the top of this forum in the stickies. You may be able to call bayliner and get an owners manual sent to you. They usually had wiring diagrams in them. You could also go to their site and download a newer manual is very similar to what you have.

Here is one for a 94 model 28. Not sure it has the same engine you do, but the house wiring may be basically the same.
