After everything I've done on my boat the trim/tilt relay decided to crap out on me. The relays still click but I'm not getting any voltage on the wires to the pump. If I run 12v to the pump it works as it should.I haven't pulled the box yet to see if I can open it up and check it out internally. Is there any reason I can' t wire in two relays to control the pump? The boat is a 90 Four Winns with what used to be a 4.3 carb motor. It's now a 4.3 fuel injected Vortec but all the drive stuff is still original OMC. The pump has two heavy gauge wires, blue and green.

There has to be a fuse that feeds the power relays for the trim motor load that is usually located near where the main battery cable mounts on the starter. It looks like a square block. it is separate from the fuse that supplies power to the trim switch.

Mine had one box that supplies power to the switch and the relays and has a circuit breaker on the front of it. I can hear the relays clicking going up and down but I have no power at the terminals that go to the motor. It may be a bad trace inside the box. I'm going to open it up tonight and see. I've rewired the entire boat so things on mine are routed a bit differently. The trim/tilt circuit is about the only original wiring left in the boat. It's wired straight to the battery so I don't have to turn the main switch on
