I have a Zodiac YL275 RIB(no trailer) and I was wondering the best way to store it for the off season.Room in the garage is not a problem.Could it be stored inflated just sitting on the concrete floor or should it be in some sort of cradle either on the floor or suspended from the trusses?
I live near Ottawa,Canada so the temp.can drop well below 0 degrees F.
Any suggestions welcomed.
Thanks.

Best time to remove any fabric, hull stains, rinse & dry rib well before garage storage, place a carpet under hull, store horizontally inflated to at least 2.0 psi. Place boat cover if available.

Re: RIB Off Season Storage

I have a Walker Bay Hyp RIB. I'll be storing it covered outside on the trailer for the winter in northern VA (don't have a garage). I'll get the motor winterized and take out the battery.

Is there anything else I should do? Should the tubes be pumped up to normal or at reduced inflation pressure?

Thanks.

Just cover well or wrap rib if having outside animals that may bite tubes or make nests inside boats. If there would be no sun during winter time or at least one that doesn't heat as in plain summer, 3/4 inflation would be perfect. I keep mine all year round, shaded and inflated to it's working pressure with no prob at all.
