rigging counter rotating

when rigging counter ritating outboards .i'm right in thinking.the left hand motor on the left side of the boat and the right on the right? what happens if there on vica versa.

It depends on the type hull, the mounting configuration and what youre looking for.

The counter rotating twins I have seen turn toward the center of the boat. The CW engine is mounted on the port side.

It depends on what hull type you have, how the motors are mounted and what you're looking for.
