i recently bought a new boat and it seems like one of the rims is out of alignment maybe the hub is bent because it is not centered under the wheel well... is there a proper way of fixing this or is beating the crap out of it the best way... i thought about using a come along and slowly pulling it back into position but i don't know where would be a good place to anchor from

What??? No! Don?t get the come along out yet!!! Get out the measuring tape! Maybe it?s just the fender that?s out of place.

it seems like the tire is closer to the frame on the back side of the tire than the front...

Your going to have to get out the tape measure. With someone?s help measure from the coupler to the axel by the leaf spring on both sides. You should end up with the same number or at least very close.
How does it tow? Does it look like it dog tails?
