I can imagine that specification may be hard to come by, but I believe the ring gap on my 3HP Tanaka is about .010" Hopefully a Viking expert on here can offer more specific information. Good Luck!

Assuming it was built by West Bend or Chrysler The gap is 0.006-0.011.
