Had experience in past with this site offering parts as per web page schematic/order form only to be told via email the parts no longer exist.

Can someone confirm if I can still get part 2 STD rings?

Boats.net usually carrys 1980 and up parts, and the BRP site shows limited availability. Go to a dealer and have them do a dealer seach to see if someone as some NOS laying around. If not try Sea-way marine.....

1971 40hp Johnson/Evinrude standard ring set, in my July 2010 parts/price book lists the ring set as still being available.

The original part number of the ring set was #384699 but has been superseded up to the part number of #391170. The price per set quoted in the July book is $31.63.

The standard piston is 384692 and is a good number ($114.49). I have one of these left in my remaining stock. (Listed in price book as No Longer Available)

The .030 oversize ring set is 384718, superseded up to 391416 ($31.63). I have a couple of these left in my remaining stock. (Listed as still available)

The .030 piston is 384715, superseded up to 396577. I'm out of these. (Listed as no longer available)
