I ahve noticed on trader and ebaymotors that I can get a rinker for much less that what I can get a chaparral. I am actually starting to lean towards a Rinker for my first boat but wanted to get the opinions of the great minds on this board.

Specifically I am looking at the Captiva. How does the seating compare to Chaps and Chris Crafts?

I have a rinker bowrider and i like it a lot. Sure there are nicer boats, but for the money you can't beat them, especially for a first boat.

What yr. is it? The reason I ask is that some Rinker's in the late 80's came with the Cobra drive.

Rinker is a local company to me,15 miles away, and they have always made very good boats, there are tons of them around here and some of them are pretty old.

Of coarse check it out really well, you can not take car of any vehicle, but as a brand Rinkers are good boats.

I am looking at a early 2000's model. Around 2002-2004 captiva.
