risers and manifolds 4.3

Hi guys


i've decided to change the manifolds and risers on my 2001 4.3 merc efi, once i've finished drilling the damned 3 stuck bolt heads of the left manifold!

I'm looking at ordering a kit from the US (i'm in spain), some online shops don't list a part number, they do say "replacement for 4.3 v6 4inch". Do i need to contact these guys and give them my engine serial number or do these fit my efi? the pictures (on all the sites i've looked stating 4.3 v6 replacement) do look identical to mine, are all the v6's the same? after a certain date ofcourse

Ayuh,... All V6s,.. No,...
But All 4.3s,..?? Yes, to a point they're pretty much the Same....

so i'm pretty safe ordering a 4" 4.3 kit for my 4" 4.3 efi


imagine, i've just got a quote for delivery from the us, $800 for kit and delivery, aftermarket ofcourse, here the aftermarket parts are 1600 without delivery!!

You sure they need changing?Manifolds and risers should last 10-20 yrs.
Remove the manifolds and check for corrosion.Jerry
