risers

Mercruiser 260hp - 2001 with little over 100 hours on it- one riser is ice cold- other is warm to touch (not hot)- running about 175F at all speeds- and running beautifully - any thoughts on riser temp differences?

Briefly pull the riser water intake hoses off with the engine running. You should be getting about equal amounts of water to each riser that are equal in temperature. If the water temperatures are different then something is blocked or someone did some funky plumbing. Look in your manual for the correct flow diagram.
