Rivet strength?

OK, let's see what I can get started. I am wondering if anyone knows if closed end rivets are any stronger than regular pop rivets? Ys, I have been doing a lot of rivetting.

Keith I would sy an aluminum rivet is an aluminum rivet . The main reason for using closed end is no water can sneak through them.

I would go with closed better for no leaking.
