Rochester Carb

Im hooking up my new carter marine electric fuel pump and noticed there is no connections to add the tube from the carb to the pump .. the old holley electric one did have one but not this one ,,where can i put this tube now? can it be blocked?

In general, electric fuel pumps don't have diaphrams, thus no need for that tube.
Have no idea what you had before that had the tube (never seen one like that) and without knowing which pump you have now, it's impossible to give you exact information.

Ayuh,... We know what you mean,....
It ain't used with electric fuel pumps...

It's there for when mechanical fuel pumps Leak...

I believe its just an overflow tube when/if things get stuck the gas just overflows back to the pump but now the new pump does not have one so what can i do with this now

Nope, as I just explained, you've got it exactly Backwards....

Throw the tube away, 'n just plug the port in the carb...

You do not understand what is going on. The fuel pump in your picture is a mechanical pump not electric.
if you replaced your mechanical pump with an electric, I sure hope you have it wired properly so it doesn't run with the ignition on and the engine NOT running.

thanks I will plug the carb,,, I bought the boat and it did have an electric holley pump (in the pic you are seeing did have one it was an holley blue electric fuel pump not mechanical) ,,,the new pump Im now putting on will have the oil pressure safety switch connected when im done thanks for being concerned don,,,,,,,
