Re: Rock River.
Just got off the Rock on Sunday, A great place is the Anchor Inn in Newville, $10 lanch fee, you can also eat there, great outdoor place with live bands on a barge in the river. Just across the river is Finn's same deal, good food and bands outside, but no boat launch. Lake Koshkongen is just up the river, big lake but shallow, going down river, you can go all the way down to the Indianford dam.
In Janesville, you can put in at Trexler park, there's a dam to the south but you can go up river for a long way, watch your water depth. Happy boating!!!
