I took out the carburator, Air manifold, Exaust Manifold, expansion tank for anti-freeze with care. Then with a 1inch wrench i removed the bolts from the head and managed to get the head out. Once the head was out I used a Punch tool and hammer and hammered the ezout after about 4 wacks. Once that was out i got a torch and torched up the threads of the spark plug still stuck in the head for about a good 2 minutes. and used an ezout and removed the threaded part of the plug out saving the threads on the head!! =)

However once i put in all the parts back in i couldnt get the engine to turn!! All i did was set the rocker arms to 20 pds/ft with a tourque wrench. I was wondering how to set the rocker heads(still an amatuer when it comes to engines) its a 1987 mercruiser 165 3.7L 4 cylinder 2 bbl engine. if anyone knows how to set the rocker arms and can give me some easy instructions it would be helpful!!

Did you get all the pushrods in the same exact location as they came out of?
