Rod And Reel Storage Problems

Hello, I just bought a boat with not rod locker or box on it. Could someone give me an idea how to store my combos in the boat securely from theft? thanks, Rick

Looks like you're going to have to build a rod locker , or , hire an armed guard .

Secure is a relative term , but , a locked compartment will deter most of the would-be oppurtunistic thieves .
Nothing will fully stop a deliberate , determined thief , aside from direct intervention of the theft ( see Smith and Wesson...) .

I have found three things:
1) If you stuff looks like junk, rarely does someone take it
2) If it is out of sight rare does anyone look for it.
3) If it is insight and looks good its gone
If you don't have a locker or keep it in the truck, cover it.
