RodBolt - Any luck on info about new poppit valve part?

Original number was - 6G5-12416-00 replacement 60H-12416-00<br /><br />The new part seems to make since as nothing will now enter the rubber grommet. The rounded face of the valve seats against the outer edge of the grommet. Nothing to get stuck in the grommet once some gunk builds up behind it.<br /><br />I plan to install it this weekend.

Installed the new design poppit today. Seems to work fine, no problems at idle or high RPM runs. Was surprised how much better the engine is running with the old stuck open thermostats replaced to, rock solid at idle and low RPM trolling speeds.

good deal. I am still going to research that. its rare that I replace the actual poppet. so I have not seen any new style and the cursed anganeers rarely call me about changes .<br /> good luck and keep posting
