I have a 2004 F9.9MSHC that is running perfectly.

On boats.net website I have found a Remote control kit for this motor and would like to know if it is possible to add an electric start. If so would you be able to supply some numbers/site to get what is needed?
Thanks.

Re: rodbolt, F9.9MSHC questions

have not found my 04 rigging guide yet, the latest kit is more than the engine is worth.
the original part number apperently has superceded a few times so I have to find my 04 rigging guide and check the original kit numbers.
but I did not make the shop over the weekend, to sick, and did some surgery today and wont be back in the shop until at least tomorrow.

Re: rodbolt, F9.9MSHC questions

rodbolt,

I appreciate the response. The only reason I am looking at going electric is problems with my right shoulder that are not going away.

It might be a better bet to trade for an electric model. Either way I feel that I will take a beating.

Thanks

so far I have not found an electric start kit looking at the 04 and 05 rigging guides.
the cost of buying each piece is nuts.
