my 07 150txr smells just a touch oily....moreso than my buddy's 150 merc. he is actually the one that made it catch my attention. seems i have more of an oily fume compared to his. i don't see any residual anywhere or an oil slick in the water and since adding a water separator it runs great. is this normal to have that much of fume or am i running a bit rich you think? it's due a 100 hr inspection. should i have them check the mixture?
