95 Yamaha 175 - New poppit valve parts just came in, spring, plastic valve, rubber grommet and gasket. My question is on the plastic valve. The Yamaha dealer said the original part had been replaced with a new design. <br /><br />Old valve has round center with X shaped fins on both ends. Long end goes into grommet in block short end retains the spring. The replacement I was given is shaped like a mushroom, with X fins on one side only. The other side is a rounded mushroom head shape. Looks like the X fins retain the spring and the new mushroom head seats against the face of the rubber grommet in the block. <br /><br />Is this the correct part for my motor and do I have the orientation correct?<br /><br />Thanks in advance
