Motor is a 1999 S225TXRX
Toward the end of last year, I noticed my fuel pump does not cycle on any more at "key on" for the 3-4 seconds. Still starts though, if it sits for a few days, it may take an extra crank or two, but always starts, runs normally at all rpm's, even at the high end of 5500 rpms. Once it's warm, starts immediately throughout the day (though the pump still doesn't cycle on at "key on".).
At first I thought I needed my hearing checked but I'm good there.
Could it just be getting "hung up" after sitting awhile? I do most of my own preventive maintenance which is complete for this year (from the poppit up to the t-stats, vst and lp pumps included). No winkly blinky codes (not sure if that would throw a code or not). I searched your posts and see you mentioning main relay as a possibility or some wire corrosion, etc. It wouldn't run at all if the pump is NOT coming on eventually, where should I look next?
To check voltage to the pump, just unplug the two wires and hook a DVM up, turn key on and see what kind of voltage is getting to the pump? This may take some time as I am only at the boat once or twice a week due to my job and family obligations. Thanks.....
