Re: Rodbolt

Well,
I'm not Rodbolt, But here's the way I do it......

Disconnect the lines from the cylinders......
Lift,+ lower the outdrive several times to Purge the cylinders of oil........
Next, Run the pump in both the Up,+ Down operations, While Adding fresh Oil,(your Choice, I use ATF) Till the oil flow out of the lines is Clear, Fresh Oil........
Then reattach the lines,+ Cycle the System several times to purge the Air out...... You May need to crack the fittings you just reattached to help bleed the air out....... ;)

Re: Rodbolt

hello
yep Bondo that works for me.
and that way you can get someone to trim up and down while you watch and tag which lines pump fluid when going up and which when going down. if you have the plastic resevoir with a yellow cap be aware that that set up destroyed more stuff than shermans march through atlanta. merc engineers did not count on it being anywhere near water. anyway post us back if ya need help. I take it a manual is non-existent?
