Rollers on ribs?

I just baught a 85 regal ambassador 255 xl. I didn't know the rollers hit the ribs ( cant remember the right name for them) on the bottom of the boat in the front. I was told this is bad? You can see in acouple of the pics what I mean.

thanks thats kinda what I was thinking, but was told that they shouldn't touch them? Im kinda new to all this.

Setting like that on the rollers isn't ideal but on that type of hull it may not be avoidable. It's more likely to deform the rollers over time than hurt the boat. You may be able to shift the rollers downward or apart slightly to get them to rest on flat hull.

Most of the boat's mass should be on the bunks and center rollers- the forward rollers are mostly to aid stability and guide the hull onto/into the bow rubber. Although the anal part of me doesn't like looking at the rollers on the ribs either, you are probably OK as is. However, I couldn't help myself and would probably wind up trying to adjust them :) Measure some things first to make sure an adjustment will actually do the trick.
