Would depend on your riding level
The vault is a continuous rocker makes for a tighter feal on the water.
Shouldent come loose on you near as bad.
Will be more user friendly
The state is a three stage rocker will feal loose at times as the middle of the board is flat.
Will be a bit tricky to get the hang of
will come loose in transition from edge to edge.
